Plot: Evgenia Kolesnikova, a correspondent for a private newspaper, receives a prestigious journalistic award - the Silver Pen - for a series of revealing articles about fraud with Moscow real estate. One of the defendants in the real estate case, official Vitaly Martov, throws himself out of the window of his apartment. On the same day, police officers Nazarov and Artemyev find a notebook with a list of his future victims in the dead professional killer Borisenko. Evgenia Kolesnikova is on the list.
