La Mentira

Plot: Virgínia is a wicked, ambitious young woman capable of aborting her child, stealing her own fiancé—Ricardo—and then spurning him to live with another man, João. Blinded by his love for Virgínia, Ricardo takes his own life, leaving his brother, Demétrio, in despair; Demétrio returns from abroad to seek revenge.
