Plot: Mary is a young librarian in a factory library. She lives alone with her mother. Encouraged by her mother, she tries to find the right man by advertising. The candidates are: an agronomist, a foreign trader, a police reporter, a teacher, a rural journalist. The classifieds are not successful, but strangely enough, Mary is strengthened in her belief that one cannot be alone in the world.
