Plot: A domineering landlady uses a bizarre crisis to tighten her grip on an apartment building’s tenants. As paranoia spreads, their behavior becomes increasingly erratic and grotesque, turning the building into a darkly comic pressure cooker of control, discomfort, and escalating absurdity.
