Le Suicide d'Ophélie

Plot: Unable to accept her father's death, Ophelia wanders through the woods in search of him. Along the way, she encounters her fiancé Hamlet and Queen Gertrude, who appear to her as ghosts, offering her only hateful or threatening advice. Driven to despair, Ophelia decides to end her life by throwing herself into a river. Brought back to shore by her brother Laertes, he curses Hamlet and the Queen for driving his sister to suicide.
