El Futuro

Plot: An independent young woman lives with her sisters, single mother, and frail grandmother in a quiet Mexican village in the 1960’s. Her mother has raised her to embrace solitude, in the belief that their family suffers from a deep-rooted curse of loneliness; which she sets out to disprove after falling in love.
