Rote Linie

Plot: An improvised and performative self-portrait, Rosa John’s Rote Linie confronts the viewer with an abstracted and symbolically defaced body. Simultaneously intimate and alienating, the subtly confrontational film makes a complex statement on introspection, interiority and, ultimately, the inscrutability of identity.
