Plot: We follow the small-time con artist Max and a white Lancia. The Lancia belongs to his mistress Lysette. Secretly renting out the Lancia to foreigners brings in a lot of money. Until it is used in a hit-and-run accident. And so Max ends up in a world of extortionists, gamblers, and blackmailed politicians.
