The Siberian Woman

Plot: Maria Odintsova, a young engineer, is a leader, secretary of the district committee of a small district, which is beginning to acquire important economic significance: it is decided to build a large hydroelectric power plant here. The heroine's conflict with the head of construction arises because of their different attitudes to the possibilities of using and preserving natural resources.
