Love Conquers All

Plot: Based on the short story collection «A Moment Before Happiness» by Oles Honchar. A love story between a Hungarian girl, Lóri, and a Ukrainian soldier, Sashko, at the end of the Second World War. An unexpected meeting and a fleeting moment of happiness are overshadowed by the advances of a Hungarian man who is obsessed with her. Defending his beloved, Sashko kills the jealous rival. The scandal is then covered up by Sashko’s death.
