AI and the Death of the Internet

Plot: The internet has been flooded with AI-generated rubbish. Automated bots are producing a flood of AI-generated content that threatens to push everything else out of our social media feeds. Will this ‘slop’ lead to the death of the internet? Or perhaps is the internet a dead space already?
