The Rise and Fall of a Jazz Girl

Plot: Minako, a runaway from Osaka chasing her dream of becoming a singer, struggles through poverty, failed jobs, and exploitation in Tokyo. With the help of a kind old vendor, a supportive reporter, and eventually singer Akira Takarada, she finally gets her chance to shine on stage.
