The Light of Belief

Plot: Wang Guang, adopted by a kind couple who gave her the chance to study, is inspired by a revolutionary speech to join the fight against Japan. After witnessing the brutal deaths of loved ones, she joins the Eighth Route Army, endures hardships, and grows into a determined fighter. She becomes a Communist Party member, studies at the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, and later leads a guerrilla unit. Wang implements reform policies and avenges the massacre of villagers.
