South of the Desert

Plot: Beautifully filmed story set in a remote village, somewhere ‘to the south of the desert’ in Patagonia; a 13 year old boy starts to take a different view of the world around him and runs away from his parental home. Does he embark on a real journey or is this the (symbolic) point of departure to another, new life?
