The Spring That Never Was

Plot: Genshichi, a child of poor farmers, enrolls in an army flight school. There, he meets an instructor named Sekine. As the war situation worsens day by day, Sekine begins to teach kamikaze attacks. Having lost his family, Sekine volunteers for a kamikaze attack and heads to the base where he finds Genshichi. The two board a two-seater plane and depart for Okinawa on a kamikaze mission.
