
Abdessamad Tourab
Biography: At a very young age, eight years old, Abdessamad Tourab decided to leave school and his family home to work in the port of Casablanca. Whilst Abdessamad was following his routine, Nabil Ayouch visited one day the port looking for a young street child to play in his, at the time, upcoming movie. Abdessamad was given the role Nourredine in the movie Ali Zaoua: Prince of the streets (2000). He later on managed to get into a Surf School in El Oualidia and won national surf champion in 2005. Abdessamad then proceeded to secure a job as a surf monitor to this day, following his passion. The French television channel TV5 dedicated a major report to him at the time, in which Abdessamad recounts his entire story. His current dream is to create his own surf school. A dream he intends to realize sooner or later.
