Destiny Leilani Brown

Biography: Destiny Brown is an actor, filmmaker, and teaching artist from Baltimore MD, currently residing in NYC. She graduated from New York University (NYU) Tisch majoring in theater as a full ride Gates, Ron Brown, Taco Bell Live Mas and Coca-Cola scholar. Her passion lies within the power of storytelling. Whether it be the stories of historically underrepresented voices, or telling her own story as a way of encouraging the next generation of creators to achieve their dreams. As an artist it is her mission in life to tell stories that add sparkle and nuance to the narratives about communities often stigmatised in mainstream media. Outside of her artistry, teaching is a way that I am able to advocate for representation and inclusivity in the entertainment field.
