
Arabella Fields
Biography: Arabella 'Belle' Fields was an American singer and actress, based in Germany for most of her career. In her international tours, she introduced European and Middle Eastern audiences to African-American musical traditions. In the early twentieth century, she appeared in several German silent films. Her only major role in a full-length film was the 1932 adventure film Baroud, where she played a domestic slave. Filmed in French and English, she starred in both versions.
